Looking for a good amp tech in western NY, or somewhere around the Erie, PA area.. have an old Music Man 2x12 i'd like to have upgraded and serviced and want to avoid shipping if I can. any leads would be very much appreciated, my zip is 14750 (Lakewood, NY) and would like to stay within 50-75 miles. Thanks!

Jeff Kirchner of JFK Electronics is great for most things or Frank "The Fender Man" Szucko is great for old Fenders. Jeff is in Cheektowaga, and Frank is in Blasdell / Hamburg.

I know John Nau and he's great (will probably see him next week), but he's about 3 hours from Erie, PA. Just west of Rochester.

Mike Putnam in Lockport (member here, I believe). Has worked on two of my Marshalls and is as good as they get.

R&R music--26th and Cherry right in Erie. Call Ron and tell him Brian Lusky referred you. Great amp tech and the only person in Erie I would let touch my amps. He just tuned up my Morgan AC20 dlx.

ALL of my work goes to John. GREAT guy with a wicked sense of humor and tremendous customer service. He services all of my amps and built a custom NAU Amp for me that is my number one gigging amp. Cannot say enough good about John. Reasonable prices as well.

We are right in the middle of the stage. 1 hour North of Binghamtone, 1 hour South of Syracuse, 1.5 hours from Rochester, 4 hours from NYC. We would be happy to help with any maintenance, service or repairs.

    Thanks! :)

Nau is great. He's not into mojo all that much but has seen so many amps of all shapes and sizes, he knows what works and what doesn't. He made me a custom amp several years ago and I am still loving the hell out of it.
