I love the sound of the cabinet and Oxford speakers on my '65 Pro Reverb. I want to experiment with plugging my Cowtipper 45 head in, but I don't know the proper ohms, can't find it written or stamped anywhere, and obviously don't want to damage anything. Is it 8? 4? Anybody?

No offense, but you're certain of this? Thanks.

    4 ohms.

    Yes, I am certain.

Two 8-ohm speakers wired in parallel.

    Here's some good info:

    http://www.ampwares.com/ffg/

The site says for a Black Face Pro Reverb:

    Speakers/Load:
    2 x 12"/4 ohms (8 ohms each in parallel)
