Ok , I am wanting to buy a mesa boogie. I have recently played a mark III, and a mark IV. (but not the Mark V).
I have never owned a tubed amp at all and I'm in in position to get one now.
My choices are between the (Mark III, Mark IV, or the Mark V)..........
So my question to you guys is.
If the mark III sounded great and the mark IV sounded I THINK BETTER, so will the Mark V be the better one??

Theres only a $300 difference between them.
Which one do you guys think is the better one? Any input would help out alot.

    THANKX in advance......

Frankly, I can't imagine you can go wrong with any Mesa Boogie amp. I've never even played one, but what I've read is so good that I think in general it's just one of those amps which has no bad models. Like Marshall tube amps.

I played a Mark V a couple of years ago and thought it was a fantastic sounding piece of equipment. Not a pro so it's just my .02. If I had the funds I would go for the Mark V at this point. Not sure what cab I would run it with though.
    Again, just my opinion.
