Need help with my tremolo settings

I play a Maz 18 w/reverb. I need my Demeter Tremulator to basically comp the tones from Southern Culture on the Skids (we do several of their tunes, but the tone I'm looking for is Voodoo Cadillac). I also need Born on the Bayou and Guiar Town by Steve Earle. I can get close, but I've never been 100% satisfied with my tones on these. The guy I play with uses a reissue brown Fender Vibrosonic and it really nails the tremolo tone I'm wanting...just wondering if the Tremulator is the right tool for the job?

You'll need a bias vary tremolo; try something along the lines of a Swamp Thang. Your Demeter pedal is based on a later Fender circuit.

Funny you should mention that pedal. A buddy of mine has one of the older Swamp Thangs and I have always liked it a lot.
