I originally posted this in Guitars General but this is probably the right spot.

I am changing from Kent Armstrong dual blade to Dimarzio dual blade pickups. It looks to me the Kent Armstrong's color codes are drastically different from Dimarzio. Am I translating this correctly?

    KA Red = Dimarzio White
    KA White = Dimarzio Red
    KA Green = Dimarzio Black
    KA Black = Dimarzio Green

Don't worry about it, the manufacturers seem to need help also....

are you doing anything trickier than just wiring them in full humbucking?

if not then yank the kents, forget about them entirely and follow the dimarzio colors, no need to complicate things.

I have a mini TPDT toggle switch used for splitting all 3 pickups and while useful with the Kent's the Dimarzio's set I'm using is pretty versatile without it. Now to find some other use for the switch. Any suggestions?
