I am hearing 60's style fuzz on the guitar. Here are a bunch of them and there are countless clones of each. I would guess a fuzzrite but it may be something else.

    Mosrite Fuzzrite
    Maestro fuzzes
    Shin Ei Companion Fuzz
    Univox Superfuzz
    Tonebender 1.5

Obviously the lead stuff is sax of some sort. If you want horn tones from your guitar you should also look into various fuzz pedals.

RIP Poly Styrene and Jak Airport. Still sound great. Perhaps the greatest exponents of punk with brass ever, along with the Saints.

    Equipboard no help.

Honestly? I think a DS-1 would do it.

A DS-1 might just do the trick, but pay special attention to how the bass is completely rolled off and the rest of the tone is strangled as well. To me, it almost sounds as if the amp is being played through a cab full of anemic 6x9 ovals.
