I tried Amazon and even though I put the exact model of the fuse, they sent the wrong ones...they were too short. Fender USA was no help. Any recommendations? I wish Radio Shack was still around
Evatco is good.In Australia we still have a store called jaycar electronics in most towns. They're a sort of radio shack. Uk has/ had maplin electronics in a lot of places. I'd go online and find a specialist if not. Evatco in Oz are really great too for all sorts of quality amp parts.
my first question is why do you need a new fuse? They don't just blow for no reason (well, almost never, it probably has happened once or twice in the history of fuses). Something went south and the fuse did its job. Putting another fuse in there might keep it running long enough to take something considerably more difficult and expensive to replace.
I find it odd that the fuses you got were too short, if they're allegedly the correct part number. did you put in a report yet of incorrect item received?
They still are, but the minimum order can be a problem, unless you can strike a good deal with an account manager.RS were always good for industrial type stuff too.
