Anybody here running the Ventilator off the 12v input on the ISO-5? Does it use a positive-center or negative-center cable? Thanks.

The manual states it is 12v but doesn't state whether it is positive-center or negative-center.

    My manual specifically says:

Yes, I saw that, but I thought I remembered reading of TGPers using the ISO-5 to power it. If the voltage and MA are appropriate, I don't see why using the ISO-5 would be a problem.

Thanks for the reply. For those interested--the 12v outlet on the ISO-5 works fine using a center-positive barrel.

I'd make sure those those connections were well marked with color coding, etc.

There was a pretty interesting thread here on TGP a few days ago about a Klon that was fried when it was hooked up to a PP2 with what was supposed to be a center-positive connection turned out not to be: PSA: Be Careful with your PP2 and Klon

Personally, I wish all postive-tipped power connectors for stompboxes would DIAF.
