I'm hoping that some Neville's aficionado can help me here...

I have this recording, Neville Brothers: Live In New Orleans. It's a Rhino Flashback series. So although it was released in 2002 or so, it is obviously a much earlier recording. My guess is circa mid '80s.

I'm trying to pin down the recording date or at least the year it was recorded.

I've tried Googling it. The CD doesn't say when it was recorded, The Rhino web site doesn't way when it was recorded.

    Any educated guesses out there?

    Thanks.

Yeah, there were two albums done live at Tipitina's - Neville-ization and Nevilleization Vol. 2, both recorded in September, 1982 according to All Music.com

^^^ I did look at allmusic.com. I think what threw me is that the title I own is not listed (which is unusual because allmusic.com is pretty exhaustive) and I didn't think to dig deeper there (one reason is that site is DOG SLOW retrieving information and loading pages).

    Anyway, I'm good. Thanks again.
