So which dealer out there has the new Princeton Reverb reissue in stock or can ship in just a couple of days ? I'm really getting the itch, but I also really don't want to place an order and then hear "any day now" for weeks ... any recommendations ?

for what its worth, I've worked my way to the reissue decision slowly -- I've read a ton of posts lately and been checking all over for SFPRs and seems like the prices are moving up fast, won't be long before they're averaging $1000 on ebay, and the black faces are just out of reach for me. and the clones seem to generally be in the $1500 range. So even at the unpopular $900 price point, the PRRI seems like the most affordable PR option.

I am sitting at my house looking at one right now. Sweet amp. Got it directly from fender....complete with a broken footswitch.

So far so good only ot to play it for a little bit. Reverb is a little metallic sounding and can get out of control quick ( like most fender reverb ). The vibrato is to die for. Great sounding effect. I will probably put a different speaker in it. Something with and alnico magnet maybe. Going to play it a while before I start changing anything.

I tried it for a few days and it is very impressive. More of a blackface sound than the sweetness of s sfpr, but thye are very much in the same balpark. I bet this will be an awesome seller for Fender. With NOS tubes it will probably be killer. And my SF comparison the New RI was stock while my PR has new newstock tubes and NOS pre-amp tubes. THe RI held its own nicely.

How exactly does one get a new model amp shipped directly from Fender?
