It's a lot brighter and cleaner, reminds me of the Bon Scott era.

I think I heard part of a cut off the new album and I thought it was pretty cool.

AC/DC has an uncanny ability to sound just like AC/DC *every* time...

They've had a pretty distinct sound throughout the years.
Still the same old Angus Young.

Always been simple for them. SG-guitar cord-Marshall amp. End of story.

Also, who would have thought you could have so many songs, so many hits, with a variation of 3 chords.

Heard the new single - fun, if a bit typical. Amazing Brian still has any voice left. Angus? My goodness - has his vibrato (always his signature) actually improved? He sounded great.

No phasers, no flangers, no synthesizers, just an SG and a Marshall. Pure tone, pure fun!

What? The new Metallica is their best since Justice. It might actually be better!

I have heard the whole album. The tone is killer IMO. The sound reminds me of For Those About to Rock. There are some very bluesy tracks on this record.

Everyone always accuses them of only knowing only three chords.
I happen to know for fact that they know all five!

I hope Brian's performance on the entire album is as consistant as this first cut. I was pleasantly surprised that he actually has some tone left in those pipes.

I heard that Brian had surgery on his vocal chords and that is the reason behind the return of his singing voice. All I know is he sounds much better today than he has in the last decade.

The new album is amazing. I think it's gonna really make a statement. I've heard about 50% of the tracks so far - and I'm pretty floored. Angus and Malcolm are the reason I picked up the guitar. I'm looking foward to seeing them live in a couple weeks.
