I was fooled by this thing, it looks just like their SS-11a and SS-20 pedals, so being that it looks the same and has the same model number config, I thought it was the latest in their tube pedal line, but it's actually JFET, not a tube.
Not only that, but I was also fooled because it sounds so good IMO. Honestly, it sounds A LOT like Tech 21's character series pedals, but where the difference comes in, this pedal has 3 modes (or "channels" if you prefer), clean/crunch/lead. I think it sounds a bit better than the Character Series.
AMT doesn't get a lot of play around here, but, interesting nonetheless.
