Thanks to Tom, Brian and the crew at Charley's in Dallas. I couldn't be more pleased with my new Drop Top. It plays and sounds great with killer sustain (a well set up Floyd does not kill sustain:dude).

It has an alder back, 50 over neck, H3 bridge, H1 neck, and jumbo frets. Shred central...

Gorgeous. Does that have the new neck joint? I saw that at Namm, and was VERY impressed.

It does have the new neck joint. Having had TAs with both joints, I think Tom is on to something. The wedgie joint is awesome. Huge sounds!

The color is deep tobacco fade.

The A wedgie is very interesting ,solid and increases the surface area held under pressure of the bolts considerably , not to mention better upper fret comfort and no more chipped and cracked paint around the joint .
