New at NAMM: Ibanez TK999OD - Tube King Overdrive

Not 'distortion', but apparently they lowered the gain on the previous Tube King TK999HT and made it a separate unit. Probably priced the same (about $149 street) which is a deal.
I'm much more excited about this than I am the red one that is currently out; I've read that one has WAY over the top gain which some have complained about.

Yeah, too bad about the case. I have to say though that the Tube King (the latest version in the red-orange awful case!) is actually a really cool pedal. I'd be really interested in this of they would just make the damn thing square/rectangular. And yeah, you can turn it but it just looks even more rediculous!

I'll try it, I liked the red one but got ear fatigue from the fizz, even with a 12au7.
