Someone was talking about the fact that all four of the Fabs have musical offspring. Wouldn't it be cool if, even as an experiment, a one-off CD, or even a tribute album where they covered their favorite songs from their dads' legacy, the Beatles' kids formed a band?

    Julian Lennon
    James McCartney
    Dhani Harrison
    Zac Starkey

It would at least get some curious attention.

I see your original Beatles influence showing there.

They actually had a few rehearsals together, but things fell apart when McCartney's kid sued the other three after they tried to get Allen Klein's kid to be their manager.

It would be interesting but it's such a long shot.

I know Zak and Julien are musicians, I don't know about the other two .... I could bet that Paul's kid is too.

From what little I've heard, Mccartney's son is supposed to be a talented musician about to make his musical debut, with a little help from his father (whom I believe also plays an instrument).

    Hideous visual isn't it?

Actually if the lad's lads get together, I'd definitely tune in to see what they did. You'd just have to take them for their own thing...like all kids.

I don't see why they would want to, other than as a potential cash grab based on the novelty. As musicians, they have likely battled from day one to try to get out from under the shadows of their fathers. Their goals are more likely to be seen as themselves & not junior versions of their dads, and a band like that would be in complete opposition of that goal.

I think it would be very interesting, I would be curious in hearing how their vocals compare to their famous dad's rather than their playing skills!

Love the Beatles, but that's not a good idea.

This sounds like a horrible idea.
