Ever since being discontinued way back in 1984, the BOSS DM-2 Delay pedal has remained highly sought after by players everywhere for its warm, “bucket brigade” analog delay tone. Now, the DM is back! With the Waza Craft DM-2W, the coveted stomp has been reborn with switchable sound modes and greater versatility for today’s music styles. God I hope this is true! Nothing on the gak site actually shows up (the center where the pedal and sales info should be comes up blank for all three Waza models) but if tomorrow Boss announces a new DM-2, my Line 6 DL-4 is outta here.. I ONLY use the DM-2 model on it, and had I realized that was the delay sound I wanted from the get go, I wouldve spent the $250 I dropped on the DL-4 like 10 years ago and just got a real DM-2 before they 'got hip' and blew up to almost $3-400..

Hoping the new one is under $200 at least, otherwise I might as well just continue the search for an original heh.. I would think it should be priced around the Carbon Copy/Memory Boy if they wanna be competitive..

Looks like they took a lesson from the improvements Retro Sonic made on the original, AND added expression.

I've been pondering making an all BOSS board just to see what I can do with "mainstream" pedals (can't be any worse than I am now!!) and this is just icing on the cake.

Can't wait to try em out!

The DM-2W says the switch doubles the delay time. I wonder if that's done digitally? Otherwise it would need twice the analog chips, right? Like the DMMTT that had 1100 ms, but need twice the expensive chips to do it.
