    Hi everybody,

Here are 3 new recordings with a Budda Superdrive 18 II Combo amp. I covered 3 songs using backing tracks and recording the guitars over them. I used an HSS Fender Strat with DiMarzio Paf Pro bridge pup. No effects are used during recording. Simple guitar into amp! Post-recording, slight compressor is added by software.

Please tell me what you think!

    Sounds great. Nice playing.

I really appreciate your posting raw clips of that amp. I've been wanting to hear more examples.

For as popular as that amp seems to be, there haven't been many clips of it available on the internet. I've listened to most of them multiple times. Unfortunately, many of the available clips obscure the natural tone of the amp by the heavy use of effects. I suspect your clips give a better picture of the real tone of the amp.

How about posting some blues using that amp?

    Thanks again!

Cool, I just ordered one of these from MF.. I got a blem andthey also have a 150 ucks back deal so its costing me around 1100 delivered . cant wait
Its gonna be the bomb for those open mic or jam type hard rock shows.. I read at least 100 reviews of this amp both longterm and honeymoon and NOONE had anything less than stellar to say about it.. Its been around for at least 5 years too

Nice playing and tones man. I love my Budda 18. Much more versatile than people give them credit for if you ask me. My favorite amp of all time ( and I've owned a bunch of amps over the years )

    Those clips sound REALLY good.

I have yet to hear someone do a really mean METAL clip of this amp. I have the SD30 II and it does a very good metal, unboosted...Mids pulled out and at about 10pm, drive at 3pm, treble, bass and drive to taste.

I don't have the equipment to record, but it can do modern hi-gain...You need to boost to get to brutal territory, but it's not bone crushing unless you boost the bass a little with something else, the only draw back with the EL-84's,
