Just saw this on the BYOC site:

The "Mighty Mouse", 250+, and Wah kits will be
    released 10/10/06.

anyone know what the "mighty mouse" is?

The 250 is the little grey/yellow DOD pedal that Ygwie used. It's almost identical to the Dist+. You can use the same layout for either one. My guess is that the kit includes the necesarry componants to do one or the other but that's just speculation.

I have an old yellow 250 and i just built my self a D+ and they are great little dirtboxes. Some think they're a little harsh but they sound decent to me.

I'm actually surprised BYOC hadn't offered this earlier although I'm wondering if there are any legal ramification as both MXR and DOD are making reissue's of these pedals.

the proco rat was turned into a kit because so many people asked for one. keith will probably only sell the kit for a while, then only offer the circuitboard. same with the 250+. the 250+ is the DOD 250, which is almost exactly identical to the MXR Distortion +, which is why it's called the 250+

personally, i am going to get a wah, a VB-2, and either a compressor, or a rat, and my free delay.
