There's a new Custom Shop LTD Esquire in the pipeline, and I believe there will also be a 2 pup version too. Other colors will be black, white blonde, dakota red and shoreline gold. Available to order until the end of the year!

    "La Cabronita Especial."

I LOVE Teles and Esquires but I wouldn't buy that.

And if you believe that, I have a shack in Tijuana for sale made of solid gold goose eggs.
(Cabronita is a very common woman's name in southern Mexico, and loosely translates to "goat herder's daughter." Thanks for playing.)

I wonder if the revrend had anything with this one. Without that stupid lookin pickguard it looks to be right in his style. I like it but without the pickguard.

I like it! Probably not something I'd buy as it would have to get in line behind a whole lot of other guitars I wish I could afford (don't feel bad for me, I've managed to afford a few!)

I just wish the CS wouldn't put so much emphasis on relicing everything, and more and more heavily all the time. I'll bet that will only be available as a heavy relic. I'm not a relic hater at all, and I'm cool with anyone who digs them, but it seems like they're doing that with everything new they come out with.

I like the color, but not the guard, forearm wear, pickup, or bridge. But I like the color.

A friend of mine who moved here from Spain told me that's what "cabron" means. I've never had any reason to mistrust that.

Technically, it should be "cabroncita"....But whatever. Lose/swap out the bridge and I'd rock it.... A "cabron" is a vulgarity for a male goat BTW.....The usage has made it vulgar, not the actual word itself. The grammar in the rest of the ad is questionable as well. You'd figure with plants in Corona SoCal and Baja, they could have found a proofreader....

Put a regular Tele ashtray and bridge pickup in it, move the Filtertron to the neck position, and use either a standard pickguard shape, or the curvy Tele Junior pickguard shape, and you might have something there...

I personally really dig it a lot. Kinda reminds me a bit of the CS Tele Jr's of the mid-late 90's or the Telesonic. It's nice to see something different than the same ol' same ol' slightly tweaked Tele models they seemingly shovel out of the CS by the truckload (not that there's anything wrong with those at all). I'd love to see a 2 pickup version with a cutoff 3-barrel ashtray bridge (such as the G.E. Smith one) and a fun wiring scheme. Maybe add double binding too, but not necessary. :) Oh, and +1 on easing way up on the relic'ing.

I like it a lot. I think it would look much better with the TV Jones Tele bridge for filtertrons and not reliced, but it is still a good stripped down look. Reminds me of the original pine prototype that Leo made.
