Anyone get one of these yet? Just found this demo, but can't find any details on DCW's Reverb store, like which diodes it uses and price. @Snare227

Never tried one, but he makes great pedals. Very underrated here on TGP. Doubt you’d be disappointed with it.

My money is on veroboard construction like the rest of his pedals.

I can imagine that Dustin has nailed it with this one, as he is with all of his other pedala.

@DSL74 Hey thanks for the questions.. Not on the Reverb store yet, but hopefully very soon. Looking at starting out around $139 shipped in the US. I ran through a bunch of diodes and tested different sets by ear, and the diodes I landed on for this one are the vintage NOS Russian military grade germanium D9E.

@coltonius Very safe bet as I LOVE building on vero as you know. It's therapeutic, though time consuming. This one I actually went with a PCB, as there was a quality one readily available and with the large part count it helps to keep the build time/customer price reasonable. I know you build all the time, so you know exactly what I'm talking about.

@KramerPacerCarreraGuy I sent a proto over to @roknfnrol and he was kind enough to do a demo with a tele as well the short clip above with the SG. Here is the link to the thread he posted in the gear demo section of TGP with that additional demo and also the gutshot so you'll have an idea of what is under the hood.

@tonegangster Yes, no reinventing the wheel here. Just another option in the sea of choices us lucky guitarists have to choose from.

Thanks, it looks and sounds great. Assume it uses a charge pump like all Klon(e)s do, correct?

Yes, I can see it’s right there on the PCB. Two dual opamps and a charge pump. :aok

Would be great to hear a demo of the DCW vs some other Klones on the market, i.e. the Mythical Overdrive, Centura and Archer, etc.

@DSL74 Yes... Coltonius is exactly right. Charge pump is in use. Buffered bypass just like the original as well in case you were wondering.
