New demo I've been working on.

    Writing my first solo record ... here's a section of the rough demo for what's going to be one of the main tracks. Just wrote it friday and I've been recording all weekend. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

    I really like it! Reminds me of early whiskeytown/wilco vibe. Very cool.

    It was very mellow and "feel good".

    The fact that it fades me for such a long period of time made me think something was wrong with the track itself, so I had the volume cranked.

    when i'm recording demos, i just use a 57 for acoustic/vocals. everything else is plugged straight into my firepod using garage band. i like to keep it simple.

    when i'm REALLY recording, I have more mics and what not and I use cubase. and I use all my amps, pedals, etc.
