My cell phone rang on Friday afternoon, and it was Greg at Rocket Music, calling to tell me my DGT had arrived (a coupole months ahead of schedule). Problem is, I had just driven to Williamsburg for a couple days, to precede a week at the Outer Banks. So I'm sitting on the beach, fishing and sipping a cold beer, thinking about my first PRS.

At least when the week is over and it's time to drive home I won't be bumming about my spent vacation - I'll be looking forward to getting my hands on that guitar!

With trepidation, I ordered a Cherry Burst. Greg told me it looks great, much to my relief. He has a Tobaccoburst in stock that won't move - I think he's even dropped the surcharge for the birds and the 10 top.

Wow - I picked it up at lunch time and brought it back to work with me. It's beautiful, feels great, and resonates/sustains wonderfully unplugged! Can't wait to get her home! Pics tonight, hopefully.

Awesome! Those DGT's are really coming out fantastic. The "tennis racket" burst has grown on me in the best way.

Man, I just plugged it straight into the Carol Ann OD and all I can say is, "WOW". These are the nicest humbuckers I have ever played, and all six settings are completely functional - these split better than any humbuckers I've heard and the tones are just delectable in clean and overdriven settings. The guitar is perfectly balanced and feels utterly comfortable and natural. I am one very happy camper with this axe and have no qualms whatsoever about my investment!!!
