Well, Comp jr with topmounted jacks!..
Pic from Diamonds facebook page.
All three look very cool. Going to have to guess the Nine Zero Two is a reference to the Nova Scotia area code.
Smart move with the compressor
Astute observation about the origin of the name
Love the new comp size, definitely interested now. And I had sworn off compressors too
Been drooling over these, especially the counter point!
That small box Comp is going to be huge for them. Really cool!
What's been the hold up on the Counterpoint, Aimish???
From the photo it looks like actual production units could
be a ways off yet----that is, unless you all are going for
some of that Cornish vibe with the labeler.
dammit! I thought I was done with GAS, and now they are making a smaller footprint compressor...
So is it the exact same tonally?
Or does it incorporate the SE qualities?
Holdup on the Counterpoint was a combination of finishing off the software and some parts availability issues.
That is the final look- those aren't stick on labels but our regular screen printing made to look like the stick on labels from our prototype. Availability is immediate, we have stock and orders will begin shipping to dealers right after NAMM.
Standard compressor circuit- we can't fit the SE's big Wima caps in the small package.
Sounds like I'm sticking with my SE then. (Which is fine, considering I hate top mount jacks and love the clarity of the SE.)
Aimish -- can you give us some specifics on what to expect from the Counter Point? How is it different than the MLjr?
Comp Jr. and Counterpoint both look awesome. Excited to hear more about them.
Will there be a compressor with the SE circuit available in greater quantity? If so, any estimate on timing?
these are ****ing pimp.
Oh goodness. I'm absolutely on board with the Comp Jr.
