You call yourself a /13 owner and you didn't know? Those cabs have been on there for a week or two already.

    Where have you been?

    ;)

On a more serious note, I'm curious as to the tone differences b/t the fixed baffle and the regular slant one. When I talked to Fred he said you could get both backs for the 2x12 cab (open and closed) but it was never mentioned whether that applied to the original 2x12 or just this new fixed baffle one.

What is the wait time for a head and cab now? Mine should be coming up pretty soon... Those 2x12 diagonals look sweet!!

ya, i'd like to hear my cab as a closedback.

and btw, i knew about the sideways 2x12 cab a while back, but that new straight 2x12 just excites me!

my dream set up right now is my ftr37 through my original 2x12 cab (blue+g12h30). and one of the new straight closed backs under that with greenbacks or something of the sort, and an rsa 23 head running through that baby!

    O god. :dude

the 2x12D cabinet says it will fit the rsa 23 and rsa 31 head.

does that mean those two heads are smaller then the ert models?

or is he referring to a small box version of those heads?

i'm thinking the 2x12D and rsa 23 would be the combo for me!

is says Rsa23"S" ... so that probably means small box.

and btw, i'm looking for a pedal to kind of throw the click channel over the edge, into a marshall jmp type tone (explains why i'd love to have the rsa23). I'm was looking at fred's pedals as well as the ocd or a timmy.

    thoughts anyone?

Ya, the 2x12D works with the small box heads. My Orange looks (and SOUNDS) great with it too :)

Do all of Freds' heads come either big box or small box? Do you have a choice which?

No, I think the only big heads offered in a small box are the RSA23 and the RSA31. The JRT 9-15 and SJT 10-20 are only small box heads. I don't think Fred's built any ERT33s, SJT37s or FTR37s in the small box format...and I don't think he could, because of the required for the reverb tank and circuitry. But don't quote me on any of this...call him if you really want to know.

I currently have two old Celestion black back G12M speakers in my 2x12D. Sounds freakin GREAT!

I should be getting my RSA23 and 2x12 diagonal cab next week. I had him build a standard size head so I hope it fits the diagonal cab!

I ordered the head and he told me to wait until the new diagonal heads were out. He is having one built. Hmmm, I hope he didn't make a small box head. I'll call him tomorrow.
