New DOD 250 Reissue?

Anyone heard about these? Good bad?

I liked the gain structure of the YJM308 I had, but the tone was kind of shrill. Every vintage gray 250 I've heard or played has been great, but a little pricey. I wonder if these will be like the gray ones, just housed in a yellow metal flake box.
