So I picked up a Bogner 30W Duende. Kinda freaked out when I looked in back... Thought, where is the output transformer? Looking closer the OT is tiny, only as big as the choke. I just assumed from my DIY experience that it would be a monster at least as big as the power transformer.

So sight unseen, just wondering if other Duende owners could confirm what I'm seeing. It was used, haven't opened it up yet, so I am paranoid that someone stole its kidney while it was asleep ;-0

Anyway, I confirm - killer amp. Alone wasn't as nice as the Fuchs ODS but with the band in gear "it mixed" in better than the Fuchs. Not to say better or worse across the board, different like fillet mignon vs. lobster.

Well there are only three transformers mounted on the back. By position and size I know one is the power transformer. The other two I suppose could be Choke/OT or Verb/OT. I suppose it could be Choke/Verb but that would be new technology to me.

Either which way, a really small or non existent OT would be a surprise
