Looks like they're now making one with 550ms to make up for the lack of readily available MN3005 chips.

    Begins at 2:56

Best part of the vid is when she called it the anal-og-izer and turned away laughing

Well... that's why they call it the 550TT. And for most users in my experience, this is just as long as they need (so in case you need more, you'll look elsewhere). There is also the possibility that, for example, 500ms on this will be noisier than 500ms on the normal DMMTT, but that's a different matter.

if they used the same board as the DMMTT then it's easy to double the delay time, just expensive (so many fake 3005 chips out there... I got $1000 worth of COMPRESSOR chips last week that were fake... getting worse!)

But does anyone need more than 500mS of delay time? I never turn mine up past 450mS.

I just want the original one for the blue!

Most people hated the 1100 look, I love it. I want it. Now.

Mike, the answer is: Definitely yes. I'd say absolute max for me actually specifically used would be something like 850ms, but i definitely use 600ms fairly regularly, and it's not especially "spacey/trance" music.

    cheers

one store on ebay is selling these for the same price as a normal xo and with free int shipping ... that makes it a very attractive proposition!
