Speaking of breaking them in- it would be cool if they could be made "already broken in" ?

    Possible ?

Some retailers and smaller run manufacturers (Weber, Scumback) will do it for you, but it's not really practical for a larger manufacturer like Eminence or Celestion.

Back on topic, I'm curious to hear more about this speaker! Need to get some AlNiCo back in my life...

I wonder how a pair of those EJ speakers would sound with my Mesa Lone Star Classic with cleans and a Big Muff type fuzz?

What are your impressions Lance? I'd love to hear how these compare to EJs favorite Celestions over the years and to some of your own favorite speakers. Thanks!

Had Mine for 2 weeks/ what a good speaker/sounds great out of the box, I do not think a long break in is needed
Never had a better speaker in my Beaufort.

They're for his dirty rhythm sounds instead of the G12H30 55s or G12-80 55s, or so I hear.

I understand he's using them in his Marshall cabs now, though plans to put 'em in his Twins as well.

    Guys
He is only using this speaker in open back configurations.
He took the set I am trying out of a tweed Twin.

There will be a separate speaker that is a ceramic that will go in his closed back Marshall cabs.
