    Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 6.01
    https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/axe-fx-iii-firmware-version-6-01.151534/#post-1803086
    6.01
Fixed memory allocation error causing boot irregularities.

    6.00
Firmware 6.00 introduces the PERFORM tabs found on the HOME screen of the Axe-Fx III. There are two PERFORM tabs: Per-Preset and Global. The PERFORM tabs can be configured with up to 10 user- selected controls from any of the blocks found in the current preset (including CONTROLLERS and GLOBAL). Configuration of the PERFORM tabs is done via Axe-Edit III. Allowable controls include rotary knobs, push-buttons, drop-downs, and toggle controls (e.g., on/off controls).
The "Perform-PP" controls are stored per-preset. Adding or removing a control from "Perform- PP" will change the EDIT state of the preset.
The "Perform-Gbl" controls are stored in the Global Settings. Adding or removing a control from "Perform-Gbl" is automatically saved to the Global Settings.
Performance controls are added via the editor from a block's parameter view. The editor's selected parameter control is assigned to the desired Performance tab through a popup menu or a hot-key combination. [Please note the "Edit Modifier..." popup menu item for modifiable parameters. Modifiable parameters can quickly jump to the "Edit Modifier" dialog by pressing the hotkey 'M'.]
    Hotkey assignments for Perform controls:
The editor's Perform view is accessed via the "Perform" button or the Tools / Performance menu. From this view, Per-Preset Performance controls can be imported and/or exported using the "Block Library" control. Additionally, the view's "Per-Preset" and "Global" tabs allow label editing for controls already assigned to the "Perfrom-PP" and "Perform-Gbl" tabs.
Changed Cabinet, IR Player and Tone Match block IR windowing so that window length is proportional to IR length (rather than a constant window length).
Doubled length of IR Capture Utility sweep. This improves SNR in challenging environments, i.e. a large, noisy room when capturing “far-field” IRs. The time between sweeps has also been increased to allow the room reverberation to decay sufficiently before starting the next sweep.
Improved Amp block power amp modeling.
Added five “Manual” controllers to Controllers menu. These can be used as modifiers for real-time manipulation of parameters from the front panel.
Combined LFO 1 and LFO 2 menus into a single menu.
Fixed Ring Mod block left/right slightly unbalanced.
Fixed Looper allows playback even if no loop exists causing noise.
FC: Further fixes for startup timing issues.
FC: Fixed Inc/Dec functions' upper limits defaulting to zero.
FC: Fixed learning of FC external pedals and switches in MIDI/Remote.
FC: Fixed external switch polarity not showing correctly on the FC Controllers Remote page.

    • Added LFO to Filter block. When enabled, the LFO will modulate the frequency of the filter between the Frequency and the Mod. Frequency. The local LFO simplifies modulated filtering and frees up the global LFOs for other tasks.
    • Added adjustable filter to Plex block wet signal. Filter can be any of the standard types (all types except comb filter types). Frequency, Q and Gain are modifiable.
    • Added Shimmer Verb type to Plex block.
    • The Mode parameter in the IR Player block has been replaced by a Length parameter.
    • Changed Home page behavior so that menu stays on selected tab when returning. Pressing HOME while on the Home page resets to first tab.

Powercab 112 Plus Firmware 2.00.1 Release Notes

    https://line6.com/software/index.html

Firmware 2.00.1 is a FREE Update for users of Powercab 112 Plus. It is highly recommended for all Powercab 112 Plus users to perform this update. This update will not affect any presets that have been modified by the user.

**WARNING** – This update will override all existing Presets and Impulse Response data loaded in Powercab 112 Plus. If you do not want to lose your existing presets or Users IRs, first export them and/or create a backup to your computer using Powercab Edit before you perform this update and reload them after the update is completed. Keep note of the index of each User IR for re-importing after the update.

Note: At the last stage of the update process, the LCD Display will go blank for a few seconds. This is normal and expected. Do not turn it off and wait until it boots up completely.

    New Features:
    • 6 New Speaker Models
      • DINO – Based on* the Eminence Cannabis Rex™. Uniquely constructed with a hemp-based speaker cone material, the Cannabis Rex is described as having a smoky, smooth high-end definition, and boasts a full, clean tonality, with lots of body and sparkle. (pronounced "di·no")

      • LECTO – Based on* the Electro-Voice® EVM 12L. Designed for professionally precise, fully overdriven, punchy tones and brilliant cleans. They are a signature component of the classic Mesa/Boogie® sound.

      • HERALD – Based on* the Celestion® G12H(55) Heritage. Featuring a heavier magnet than the original G12M Greenback, this speaker replicates the sound of the original G12H.

      • BROWN – Based on* the Celestion® G12 EVH®. While the Greenback 20 played an essential role in the sound of Eddie Van Halen's unmistakable sound, this speaker was the based on the 60s version Greenback and used in his signature amplifier.

      • SHADE – Based on* the Mesa/Boogie Black Shadow C90. Custom made for Mesa/Boogie by Celestion in the UK, this speaker provides a tight and controlled low end, aggressive midrange attack, and strong high-bass / low-mid punch. They are a feature in many Mesa/Boogie amps.

      • JETSON – Based on* the Jensen® C12K. The C12K is often paired with Fender® amps for great for a heavy mid and solid, straight forward, slightly darker tone. Can also present bold and heavy overdriven tones.
Want more speaker models? – Submit your requests at line6.ideascale.com!

    • L6 Link Remote Control – Powercab Plus devices include the Line 6 proprietary L6 LINK technology, providing a simple, single-cable connection for mono/stereo audio and remote control capability between a Line 6 Helix device and one or more Powercab Plus systems. This allows you to store and recall Powercab Plus parameters via your Helix device, globally or even per Helix preset!

For L6 LINK functionality, it is required that Helix device firmware is updated to v2.80 (or later), and Powercab Plus system firmware is updated to v2.00 (or later). For best results, always run the latest available firmware version on all your Line 6 devices.

      NOTE:
A 110Ω type AES/EBU (XLR) cable should be used for all L6 LINK and AES connections.

Use the following steps to configure a Line 6 Helix Floor, Rack, or LT device for L6 LINK remote functionality with Powercab Plus.
    1. On Helix, from any Output > Multi or Output > Digital block, press PAGE> once. Powercab remote parameters appear.
    2. Turn Knob 1 (Powercab Remote) to select:
      • Off - No remote control of Powercab Plus parameters, but audio is still active
      • Per Preset - Powercab Plus parameters are stored and recalled with the Helix preset
      • Global - Powercab Plus parameters are stored and recalled globally
    3. Turn Knob 3 (Speaker Select) to select which speaker(s) you’d like to control. If you have a single Powercab 112 Plus, leave this set to “Speaker 1+2."
    • Input 2 Mode: USB – Input 2 is routed only to the USB 1/2 input directly and can be used with guitar amp modeling software like Helix Native. Be sure to enable input monitoring in your DAW software and arm the track for recording. To use speaker modeling or User IRs from the output of the DAW, also set USB Mode to "Processed".

This mode is intended for the use of Powercab Plus as a traditional audio interface. Plug your guitar or line level feed into Input 2 and you can use a DAW or audio software to process your signal. For example, this mode could be for processing the guitar signal with the Helix Native plug-in, which then plays back through the Powercab Plus amplifier and speaker(s). This could be done with or without speaker/IR processing, depending on the Powercab Plus USB Mode global setting. This method does add some round trip latency and will depend on your computer processing power and buffer settings.
    Improvements:
    • Improved Line 6 Link stability and daisy-chain detection.
    • New global settings for MIDI - please refer to the new Powercab Pilot's Guide for full description.
      • MIDI Receive (Off, PC+CC, PC Only, CC Only) - Determines whether or not Powercab changes presets or parameters in response to incoming MIDI Program Change (PC) messages, MIDI Control Change (CC) messages, both, or neither.

      • MIDI Send (Off, PC) - Determines whether or not MIDI PC messages are transmitted whenever a local PC change event occurs (when a preset change is made on the Powercab).

      • MIDI Over USB - (Off, On) - Determines whether or not MIDI data is received and sent over USB.
    Bug Fixes:
    • MIDI Clock is properly handled and passed to MIDI Thru.
    • MIDI Active Sense is properly handled. KEMPER™ users should still power on and fully boot up the Kemper first before turning on Powercab 112 Plus when MIDI is connected.

Spider V Firmware 2.00 Release Notes
Spider V Firmware 2.00.0 is a FREE firmware update that includes new features, fixes, stability improvements, and optimizations for Spider V and Spider V MkII amplifiers. It is highly recommended that all Spider V users perform this update.

This update will not affect any presets that have been modified by the user. If you wish to reload the factory presets, this can be performed by pressing and holding the home button and scrolling down to the "Factory Reset" function.

Thank you for using Spider V!

    New Features:
    • Classic Speaker Mode – Added a new parameter within cabinet settings called "Speaker". The value "Classic" overrides the selected cabinet model and routes the processed guitar signal to only the woofer, which has been re-voiced for each model of Spider V. This allows Spider V to deliver a more familiar combo amp experience. This can also be set to "Full Range" which operates as it did before –with the selected cabinet and mic modeling and includes the tweeter. USB, AUX IN, drum loops and metronome will still route to the full range speaker system as before.
    • New Presets – New presets for vintage amps by a renowned tube amp builder that take advantage of the new classic speaker mode. The entire preset bundle has been revised to take advantage of this new feature with the exception of the Acoustic Guitar presets which still utilize the full range speaker mode. New and revised artist presets are also included. To get these new presets, we recommend to first create a backup of your existing presets, then perform the Factory Reset.
    • Preset Labels – Each preset now has a contextual label that is helpful for identifying the purpose of the preset or its author.
    Improvements:
    • All Amp model default values have been revised.
    • All FX model default values have been revised.
    • XLR output volume has been lowered to better accommodate consumer-grade audio interfaces and mixers.
Compatible OS: Mac OS X, Windows 7, Mac OS Mavericks, Mac OS Yosemite, iOS 8, Windows 10, Mac OS El Capitan, macOS Sierra, macOS High Sierra, macOS Mojave

recommend using a 800x400-pixel image (it will be automatically scaled to this size after transferring it).
    • Added the ability to place the looper before or after your signal chain. This gives you the ability to
record a riff, and then place it before the signal chain so you can sculpt your rig’s sound without having
to physically play the riff over and over again.
To set the looper’s location, while viewing the looper on the touchscreen, turn the third parameter
knob (Loc) to place it before (Pre) or after (Post) the signal chain.
    • Added ability to truncate impulse response (IR) files to 1024 samples. When your IRs are truncated,
they require fewer DSP resources, which frees up more resources to load additional models and/or IRs
    to each rig.
To load a truncated IR, select IR 1024 instead of the normal IR setting when adding an IR to a rig.
    • Added the ability to enable or disable confirmation messages that appear while changing your rig.
To enable or disable these messages, enter the Global Settings screen and set Reminders >
Confirm Unsaved to On (enabled) or Off (disabled).
    • Added Side Comp effect to the Dynamics/EQ model category. This is a side-chain compressor effect,
which uses the HeadRush Pedalboard’s effects return as the side-chain input.
Note: When this effect is in your signal chain, the FX Loop will be disabled.
    • Minor bug fixes and DSP optimizations.
    Since Firmware Version 1.0.0
    • Enabled USB audio recording and reamping features.
Important Note for Windows Users: Visit headrushfx.com/support and download and install the
latest Windows driver before using the USB Audio feature.
    • Minor bug fixes.

    Helix/HX FW 2.81, Helix Native 1.81

    Bug Fixes
    • The active EXP Pedal (1 or 2) was not saved with the preset
    • On Helix LT, the XLR Outputs would reset to Mic level upon power cycle
    • After loading two presets in a row containing a Looper block on Path 1B or 2B, audio could sometimes drop out
    • In rare cases, restoring a backup made on 2.71 could cause headphone audio to be lost
    • In hands-free Pedal Edit Mode, moving an expression pedal could also affect any Wah, Volume/Pan, or controller assignments
    • Changing IRs via controller or snapshot could sometimes result in an audible crossfade between IRs
    • Presets with Input > S/PDIF blocks would not pass audio until another preset with a different input block is loaded
    • When Global Settings > Preferences > Snapshot Edits is set to “Discard,” tempo would not reflect this setting when set to “Per Snapshot”
    • Command Center > MMC > Record, Punch In, and Punch Out commands could not transmit correctly
    • In rare cases on Helix Floor, Helix Rack, and Helix LT, FS6 (MODE) could fail to toggle between footswitch modes
    • Adjusting certain Frequency parameters (typically those below 1kHz) could change at different increments between hardware and HX Edit
    • In HX Edit, assigning both a block and Command Center command to the same footswitch could result in erratic behavior when attempting to change the LED color
    • Snapshot-controlledCommand Center > CC Toggle or CV Toggle values could sometimes not import correctly from older presets
    • In rare cases, undoing a footswitch assignment remotely from HX Edit could result in a firmware crash
    • In HX Edit, repeatedly pressing Up/Down arrows could inadvertently jump to the bottom of the controller parameter list
    • In HX Edit, attempting to undo hardware changes after a Global Factory Reset could sometimes reload preset data from before the reset
    • Performing an Undo/Redo function could sometimes cause a Cab > Dual block to change to a Cab > Single block
    • Performing an Undo/Redo function could sometimes cause a stereo effect block to change to a mono effect block
    • In HX Edit on Windows, the Edit panel’s sliders could sometimes fail to appear
    • In HX Edit on Windows, customized Command Center text could sometimes be truncated
    • On Windows, the Win Defender pop-up could block installation of Helix Native or HX Edit
    Known Issues
    • On Helix Rack/Control, connecting an expression pedal to Helix Control could sometimes cause the pedal position display to behave erratically
    • Pitch/Synth > 3 OSC Synth, 3 Note Generator, and 4 OSC Generator are louder than in 2.71
    • In rare cases, the Dynamics > LA Studio Comp model can sometimes cause a drop in preset volume
    • In HX Edit, applying a custom color to a Snapshot footswitch can sometimes not be reflected on the hardware. For now, apply snapshot footswitch colors from the hardware
    • In HX Edit, if the current preset has not been saved, importing a different preset, setlist, or bundle does not currently clear the Undo history
    • In rare cases, HelixHX devices can become disconnected from HX Edit. If possible, always connect your HelixHX device directly to the USB port closest to your computer’s power connector. Never use any sort of USB hub, which may include the front USB ports on the front of towers
    • Helix Native will not open in hardened runtime builds of Cubase 10.5
    • Some tempo synced effects can act authentic with the global setting set to transparent if tempo changes are controlled via snapshots.
    • In HX Edit, importing a setlist containing Command Center > Instant commands may transmit the messages even if no new preset is loaded
    • Logic Pro X is currently unable to write snapshot or switch automation data forHelix Native
    • In HX Edit, performing an undo after a block cut or clear can delete the block’sfootswitch and/or controller assignments
    • In HX Edit, moving an effect, amp, cab, or IR block can sometimes inadvertently reposition a Split or Merge block
    • In HX Edit, certain Output > Powercab andDT parameters cannot currently be assigned to snapshots via Alt+click/Option+click. For now, press and turn the knob on the Helix hardware
    • In HX Edit, Ctrl+click/Command+click on certain Output > Powercab andDT parameters maynot reset them to default settings
    • In rare cases, posting a photo of the “Update Failed!” screenshot to Facebook without first reading the instructions that clearly explain how that’s expected behavior will result in an atomic wedgie
    • In Helix Native, changing models can clear automation assignments of common parameters (such as Amp > Bass or Delay > Time)

New GM Arts Firmware for BJ Devices Mark II MFCs

BJ Devices has released a new series of Mark II MIDI Foot Controllers with additional settings memory. I've developed new firmware for these models with new features, a new editor and emulator. I think you'll also find it easier to use.
    • Supports all Mark II BJ Devices models: TB-5, TB-6P, TB-8, TB-11P & TB-12
    • Supports BJ Devices BS-2 up/down footswitches (aka stand-in switches)
    • 8 footswitch pages (aka layouts) per model
    • Each footswitch has a main function and optional hold function
    • Pedals can have dual functions
    • Up to 25 banks for patch footswitches with 10 patches per bank (max 250 MFC patches)
    • Up to 100 effects
    • 4 effect types: toggle, select, momentary, and toggle can act as momentary if held down
    • Up to 25 steppers (for 3-way switches, up/down effects and more)
    • Up to 25 control pedals
    • Patches, effects and steppers can send any MIDI messages as well as MFC commands
    • Footswitches and pedals can be overridden on a per-patch basis
    • Supports Fractal Axe-FX models Axe-FX II, Axe-FX II XL, Axe-FX II XL+, Axe-FX III
The editor and firmware is BETA at this stage so I'm looking for testers. I've checked a lot of it, but there's still more to do. Nevertheless, as long as you save often and test it with your own settings, if it works, it's good to go.

    Get it here: www.gmarts.org/tb2/

It's free, and please let me know of any bugs you find at info@gmarts.org

    Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 7.00

    www.fractalaudio.com/downloads/firmware-presets/axe-fx-3/7p0/axefxiii_dsp_rel_7p00.zip

Improved power amp modeling. New algorithm accounts for variation in load voltage as a function of transformer turns ratio. I.e. reducing the Transformer Matching will reduce the output level and vice- versa.

Fixed low output level for Shred Distortion Drive model.

FC: Fixed tap function executing on hold when "Hold Execute" is set to "Switch Up".

FC: Fixed switch executing from wrong layout after a stand-in switch is used.

FC: Fixed MLM functionality when cloning mixed units (FC-12's and FC-6's).

FC: Added FC-6/FC-12 compatibility mode. When enabled, FC-6(s) will use buttons 1, 2, 3 for the bottom row and buttons 7, 8, 9 for the top row. Accessible from HOME->SETUP->FC Controllers->Config Page, FC-6/FC-12 Compatibility Mode. It is disabled by default.

FC: When "Reveal Holds" is active the hold function states will be displayed (with default ring colors only) and button presses will execute the hold functions.

FC: Fixed hold functions firing on the MLM hold switch (switch 3 on FC-6 and switch 6 on FC-12) preventing MLM mode from executing.
