Can anyone identify this Gibson model? Caught it while watching tonight's episode of Nashville.

Seems to be a slab body with a forearm contour and 2 P90's. ES-295 pickguard and split parallelogram inlays.

The body seems incredibly small compared to the headstock, almost like a six string tenor guitar. Most likely a one-off for the show, or a prototype. I can't imagine of what, though.

Funky. The body does look small or the guard is huge.
The controls are very close together & the neck PU is pretty far back too.

Side note: I heart Layla Grant.

Edit: just noticed its a 20 fret neck so the pickup isn't far back.
    The fretboard is short.

Looks like it might be a custom job based off a Gibson Nighthawk body.

I don't think its a gibson, probably a small builder project or a knock off with some very familiar styling cues .

The pickguard looks like it is from an ES-295 which is a much larger body guitar.

It's definitely a Gibson - look at the headstock.

Yep, and a couple other things....

    1) I'm counting 19 frets (the last line is too far away...appears to be the neck binding)

    2) I think the pin striping is giving the illusion of a smaller body....look closely and the body appears to be normal size

    Man, those controls are cramped!

    A. it is a gibson neck applied to a custom body, etc. (that has been done many times).
    B. Custom made from the GCS, or the crew at the repair facility @ VA building downtown.

She is small, check out Her hands to the dogear pup...
Never the less, cool custom made guitar

It's hard to make out due to low contrast, but the headstock definitely looks like it has a Gibson logo and the pineapple on it.

Very interesting but the controls are so cramped together.
