GMW is considering some new ideas.. Here are a few mockups and thoughts.. All guitars will fall under $1500 w/case but we want some input. Let us know what you think.. Colors, PU's, specs.. anything..

In the meantime, enjoy the current ideas below.. Feel free to comment away.. These can be completed in around 45-60 days pending specs..

I'm also a fan of that pickup config.
For some reason, I hate the look of a SSH setup, but love SH.
It's the '80s metal in me, I'm sure.
    I've always wanted a GMW.

i am gonna be ordering a "bobby d model" in 2010, already have been discussing it with Lee, and it's gonna be a head turner as well as a heck of a player :bow

i love ALL the great superstrats out there.....but GMW has the best price vs performance ratio i think of ANY of them. :JAM

my current GMW doesn't look all that fancy, but boy is it a great playing guitar!

for 2010 -- keep up the good work!!

That's very cool - I've become a sucker for tortoiseshell guards on sunburst though!

So, any more news about this "Bobby D" model ?? :D

In the meantime, here's another solid color mockup option.

Another possible option. Lee is asking for your opinions.. This color or perhaps a different green?

GMW is looking for color & spec options? Name your own color and have it featured in a mockup and possibly premiered as a new guitar build if this series takes off. It seems very promising!

The smaller more aggressive bodies match the headstock much better. The first ones posted look mismatched with the full size strat body.

Yeah, I've thought that for ages too. The pointy / eliptical lines of the head work better with an 'edgy' body than they do with a rounded strat. Here's a couple of pics of mine. I went for the SS body style which is a little bigger than a normal dinky, but has the same overall look. It's worth noting that it's really difficult to capture the headstocks well in a photograph - the '3D' nature of the head is tough to do justice to in 2D:

From a personal standpoint, I guess I tend to prefer a smaller body shape regardless of the headstock used and thus never liked the 'strat' or CS shape; (as it's called at GMW). Thus, I'd tend to agree that I like the "Millenium" headstock on the DS and SS shapes. I also like it on the CT (tele) shape as well..

Talking about the CT shape... This one features the "traditional" headstock which to me, on a CT is just about 'perfect'! What do you think? :)

    Enjoy!

I like the green one A LOT, add some more pickups (I say a lace sensor in the neck and a middle position lace, some cool bucker in the bridge. I'd loose the floyd or offer it as an option I hate floyds on "s" style, I really like your guys headstock though!

    Are you using Kisekae :D?

Yeah, its the GMW generator of choice. With a combination of the "liquid pixels" generator & photoshop, I can get some pretty cool mockups. Thanks! :D

I've found out that Lee is going to produce 4gtrs, with one already having pre-sold. Of the four, I know the green (called "7-Up") is a definite so far. Beyond that, its up in the air and based upon how these first lot go, if they sell well, more will come. :drool

Of note, any pre-ordered guitar, you can choose any 'bridge' option and at no extra charge! Heck, you can even get a Wilkinson bridge for no up-charge.. :D
More importantly, each additional PU is only $100 more and comes with both installation (free), any number of controls & switches (free) as well as a multitude of other complimentary options. All this comes in a custom designed, plush black interior form fit case with custom embroidered GMW logo.

Question, how do any of you feel about a 4-5 guitar set of "muscle-car" colors? :D

..the latest mockup.. (...inspiration came from a '57 Chevy!..)

If you have a few color options you'd like to see, let me know. Not only will it be considered but if that color is chosen, a mockup with that specific color scheme and featuring your name will be created (by yours truly).
So, let's hear those color submissions.. :D
