Anyone get to try these at NAMM or elsewhere recently?

I have played the MiniHums. I did the clips on the Grosh page about them. I am not usually a fan of Mini-Hums but I really thought they sounded cool to my ears. Hopefully the variable tones we did will give you some idea of what they are like.

I have not played the ElectraSonic's yet. I am spending time with them soon. They are P-90 sized but wound with Formvar wire and have Alnico Pole magnets instead of a Bar magnet. I expect them to be really Stratty but on steroids. I guess I will find out once I get a chance to live with them for a while.

    I hope that helps.

    :)

I was able to play an Electrajet w/ the mini hums about a month back at Mass. St., I think I posted about it somewhere. Anyway, the neck was medium and I didn't play it long as I go for the medium large, but I really liked the pickups. I was impressed. Mini hums have a certain thing going on and these didn't depart much from the classic formula. Fit the EJ model well I thought.
