The day finally got here. I ordered this guitar about 3 weeks after I received my Drop Top. Got the call from my dealer yesterday. Unfortunately I was busy the entire evening and didn't have the opportunity to play it until tonight. So far, what a great guitar! It was exactly how I wanted it (I already know it isn't for everyone).
Here are the specs:
Anderson Classic
Sage Green Metallic
Alder Body
Chocolate Maple Neck (1 11/16 nut, Jumbo Frets, BFTS and Even Taper)
Chrome Vintage Trem
Locking Tuners
SC2 SC2 H2+ (Aged White Pickguard)
5 Way, VA Boost
I literally played it for the first time minutes before I hit record on the camera. Sorry about the lame monologue but I was winging it and didn't know what to play. All I can say is Tom just does it right. It feels and sounds great so far. I will be making some proper clips soon enough but wanted to give you guys a look and a listen. I'll take better pictures later. I purely just didn't have time to set it up right. It feel quite a bit different from my Drop Top. I like the fact that both guitars are different and offer diversity of tones. The H3+ in the Drop Top is quite a bit hotter. The H2+ is more balanced and I feel like I can hear more picking nuances. I can't wait to really put it through its paces and become more familiar with it. So glad today is here! Tom has made me a fanboy. Seriously, I am spoiled. They are quickly becoming my "go to' guitars!!
**Watch in 720p (1080p plays choppy for some reason)**
