My longtime Fender offset dreams were realized this week when I acquired these two beauties, a 1960 Jazzmaster and 1963 Jaguar. They're everything I've ever wanted and so much more- I'm unworthy of them. Enjoy~

I think you were able to realize both of every single person's longtime dreams in one incredible shot.

Very nice! I've found that, while they're both cool, it's the Jazzmaster that I actually end up playing-pickups are really cool and the longer scale just seems right!

I thought I wouldn't vibe with the Jag's scale length, but am obsessed with it and thinking of grabbing another down the line. They compliment each other incredibly well, these two instruments.

What grunge mods will you be doing to these guitars in the near future?

Agree....after 40 years of playing, I finally tried the JM and it's pickups are what I always thought Strat and Tele pickups SHOULD sound like....perfect blend of clarity, fullness and sweetness (both clean AND overdriven)

I guess I should try a Jag next....I've always assumed they sound like a Strat, but am probably way off base and will be pleasantly surprized :dunno

Congrats! Now that is a doubleheader of a score. Wow both guitars look to be in amazing condition, did you purchase both from the same person?

Thanks! They came from different homes; the Jag from a private seller on Reverb and the Jazz from TR Crandall Guitars in NYC.

They're both body-only refins (the Jazz may be a factory refin from late 60's), which is how I managed to get relatively good deals on 'em. Wish I could better capture the amazing checking on the bodies.
Aside from that, both are 100% original and flawless. The Jazz could use a refret soon though.
