Dude.. that was a sarcastic comment in your favor... you always get accused of it when you post on non-L6 threads.

If it's any indication, we just played a show with Sarah (from the original video) and she's still using her Axe-FX/Behringer FCB for her live solo show....

I guess she doesn't care about a quad core processors and a touch screen. Huh.

I didn't really ask her about it, from my experience she's not a huge gear nerd anyways, but I would think if it was ready to go they would have let her keep the demo unit to at least show it off a little bit.

MF's ad copy mentions ability to load IR's. Shows a 5/25 avail date

    http://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/headrush-headrush-multi-effects-pedalboard

Created by the original team that brought you Eleven, the HeadRush Pedalboard delivers a diverse offering of classic vintage and modern amp and FX models, including exclusive original boutique effects that can’t be found anywhere else. Plus, it has the ability to load your own custom impulse response (IR) files. Whether you’re looking for a classic warm vintage amp with natural tube drive, wide ambient stereo delay textures with infinite feedback, or the heaviest of heavy djent tone, the HeadRush Pedalboard covers it all and everything between!

No, it's on MF for $999.

The parent company seems pretty big with lots of interesting technology and hardware across the music spectrum, this could be pretty good.

Doesn't look like there's room for it on this forum, but there is a pretty big world outside the Gear Page digital and modeling gear.

Don't conflate behaviour towards the botched roll out of a product with some sort of inherent animosity.

This place would HAPPILY embrace something amazing, and frankly if this turns out to be any good people here will embrace it where it makes sense.

I would also suggest that a company having a lot of interesting technology at their disposal doesn't mean that the resulting products will be worth a damn. Nor is the size of a company a predictor on the quality of a product.

IF this product is any good, all they would need to do is release proper demos. That could be done in a day.

At this point we've heard two mediocre riffs, and a bunch of tapping. That's it. Neither illustrated much from a sound point of view. Oh, and they've also made some ridiculous claims.

We'll all wait and see - as we have no other choice - but if they turn it around and release something spectacular many folks on here will buy one with an open mind.

New Jersey... YOU GOTTA PROBLEM WITH THAT?!?!
It's pretty safe to assume everyone here, myself included, wants Headrush to blow our minds, loosen our wallets and help push the boundaries of modeling tech. MF only just started offering it for presale. That is a good sign because they didn't right after NAMM. It's still not available at Sweetwater. Nor is even mentioned on inmusic's website. So, it is still wait and see mode for now.

I just wish they'd update the website, or issue a press release, really anything to shed a little more light on this mysterious box

Choo-choo! Here comes the hyperbole train:

"the most versatile, realistic-sounding and responsive amplifier, cabinet, microphone and FX models ever found in a floorboard guitar FX processor"

So it'll be better than the AFXII and the Helix, and a lot cheaper. Can't wait.

It does say floorboard, so maybe it's less realistic than the Axe-FX II XL+ and Kemper. ;)
