Joe Kelemen has just released a new line of PTP, handwired amp heads. These have been in the design stages for the past 4 years, with Joe working closely with guitarists who play in live club situations.
The Roadrunner is a single channel, class AB, 35 watt head that can use any power tube from a 6V6, 6L6, EL34, 6CA7, KT66, or 6550.
The Raven is a 30 watt, cathode biased 2 channel head that can also run anythingt from 6V6's to 6550's..{I set mine up with KT66's and it's killer}. I'll be doing a bunch of sound clips shortly for Joe..For more info, please check out his website at www.kelemenamps.com The amp has a variable negative feedback loop which gives many sonic options!!
These amps aren't another Vox, Marshall, or Fender clone..They have their own design, sound and feel...They are light in weight, and built to be played 300 nights a year. For more questions, feel free to PM me or Joe at Kelemen Amps... the sound clips are finally here!!!!!!!! http://kelemenamps.com/clips.html
They are for sale at Mark's Guitar Loft at discount www.marksguitarloft.com

I tried a Roadrunner in Tucson yesterday.

Very nice ... may have to spend more time with it.

These look cool...I like the simplicity. And i could block out a few letters on the logo and spell my last name. ;) Seriously, looking forward to hearing some clips.

Yes, simplicity in amps helps acheive better tone....He uses a very short signal path, top notch parts, and custom Schmacher transformers designed espiecally for these 2 models..

Thanks Rod, sounds good, lots of chime on the clean and some good bark on the dirt.

The clips sound great. As much as I like the idea of two channels, the Road Runner seems to sound better with gain...more articulate or something (or is that just a recording/PC speaker perception?).

Hi......No, I think that each amp can sound just as good as the other...The gain channel in the Raven is similar to the Roadrunner channel, but the Roadrunner has a bit more headroom because the power section runs class AB. To my ears a little more of that old Marshall vibe... ..The power section in the Raven runs cathode biased class A, so it can be a little singier..Also that amp has a variable feedback loop...I honestly don't think that one sounds better than the other...The difference you hear probably more than anything is the differences in what power tubes I used for each....you can run EL34's, 6L6's, 6V6's KT66, 6550 ect

Hi Taron....thankx I didn't mess with any EQ, so what you hear is really what the amps sound like with me playing them.

Nice sounding amp, Rod. You might want to check the links to your webpages in the notes on the clip page at the bottom. The URL is incorrect when you click on them...
