I've been searching for the right Les Paul for about a year now. I've played dozens of LP models and am glad to report that I've finally found the one. So without further ado, here it is.:drool

THAT is how a Les paul should look
Vos 58? Because if it is it sounds and plays just as well as it looks.

Yup, it's a VOS R8. I played a bunch of R7 and R8s and loved the way they felt and sounded, but the necks were too big for me. This one fit just right. :)

Erm... that's kind of a different LP headstock, innit?

Very cool, I personally think you made a good decision on one of those over one of the new Traditionals... very neat guitars but not near as neat as that in my opinion...

Congrats, nice guitar. I agree with padavis. Better choice than the traditional.

I swear you have a NGD every other day.

The Traditional I almost bought played as well as this R8. The finish and attention to detail is definitely better on this R8 though. The day I played and almost bought the Traditional, it was the best playing LP I tried even compared to a few Reissues. There is no doubt in my mind that the quality and playability is not consistent on LPs in general, regardless of the model. That being said, I'm in heaven with the R8. After getting this R8, I'm seriously thinking about selling a bunch of my other LP style guitars because I doubt I'll be playing them very often.

I love my R8. I'm sure you will love your R8. Heck, everybody loves their R8's!
