    It's basically a H.B.E. Detox(not saying it's a copy)...great idea...works well for single ch amp guys...I used the Detox with my Jubilee for a while...super useful...I'm sure the MP will sound awesome...

    cool, I wasn't aware of the Detox til I noticed the comment at the bottom of the PG linked article.

    sounds like the Detox or the MP will be a winner for my uses too.

    I like it, but I take a different approach.
    I use my volume knob to back off, and then use a post dirt boost into a clean high headroom amp to make up for any lost volume. But I think with a lower headroom amp, the Underdrive is the better approach.

    Now that's a cool pedal. I could see that being very useful for a lot of people.
