The new GT-10 will replace the GT-8 as the flagship in the Roland arsenal.
New for NAMM 2008, there is a product video on Roland's site

Q: What's the difference between an accordion & a trampoline?

A: You take your shoes off to jump on a trampoline

Kiddin', of course. Tis all good...

I've never been floored by the COSM stuff, but for a floor unit, reliability is the name of the game, and with all the problems Line6 has had with the X3 Live, I'll be sure to give this a look if my fast-waning interest in an all-in-one unit manages to survive. At least Boss tends to but their items in metal enclosures.

The big questions are: Have they improved the sound? Can you use it live through a guitar amp? Does it still need a Harmonic Converger? Will we see it in the stores before summer NAMM 2008? and what is the price?

The 40 secs of looping is definitely a nice upgrade.

Upon further review, this unit, like so many others, is just...too...much! Can't any of these companies make a box that *just* models amps and does nothing else at all, providing us with the same interface as an amp, the same sound, the same responsiveness, but not nine million tons of extra crap as well? Surely there is some market for this...
