Took the plunge a week ago after deciding to get more serious about bottleneck guitar... I just had my first chance to sit with it for a few hours. What a bitchin' instrument. The harmonics are so clear, when you play on the unwound strings with a slide, the notes actually jump an octave after a second or two. Anybody else into these?

I had one. They are very cool. I ended up selling in my endless cycle of GAS chasing to get another acoustic national.

I had one, thought it was cool as hell too. But a little too much of a niche instrument for me to keep it at the time. I wish it had a spider bridge instead of a biscuit - personal preference for me, I like the growl. But for what it was, it was a fun guitar.

Sorry about the lack of photos, lads. I'm posting this stuff from a phone in the middle of heavy sessions, and haven't even dealt with where to host my pics yet.

The guitar continues to amaze, though. I'm trying out every kind of slide on it: glass, brass, ceramic etc. And no, this one wasn't on the Emporium... got it new at McCabe's.

Just found out that the P-90s they're putting in these are LOLLARS! How cool is that? And to think I've been playing it unplugged for a month.
