Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
After all these years of emulating the tube amp sound, Boss will release a tube amp. With digital effects.
If it's not the space echo, I swear to god, every pedal in this town is going to have the F-word on it. The F-word. You have one day Boss.
See you tomorrow!
It's half way through the 11th.
Still holding out for DS-1w.
“One day for what?”
“That’s...they always give an ultimatum.”
The SY-1 seems cool AF!
Boss are killing it with every new release.
The RC-10R seems to be the same size as the 200 line, why isn't it called RC200?
I would guess because it’s the same thing as an RC-1 just with a button and slightly more functionality for the rhythm section.
Any info on cost?
$200 for SY-1 and $300 for RC-10R.
SY-1 is nothing new really. All they did was take the same sounds from their BOSS SY-300 unit that came out in 2015, and put some of it in a smaller box. They'll never update it either like they didn't the BOSS SY-300 which is what they should have been doing!
Does the new Boss looper do any of the cool stuff the Chase Bliss Mood does?
RC-10R also seems like their competition to Digitech's Trio Plus. I wonder how they'll compare.
Glad to see something in the traditional stompbox format, but I have to admit, I'm still a little salty. Dirt is one of the few areas where modern BOSS seems to get smacked around by the boutique market - often using modified BOSS circuits. I don't know how profitable it is, but I'd really like to see them take more of that space back.
