JM is a big time TGP Influencer from what it looks like around here. He could play a rubber chicken and folks would be talking about it. :p

if you could play New Light on a Rubber Chicken and sound anything like the record that would be exceptionally interesting.

That's a great looking guitar in (IMHO) the best PRS color there is. However, didn't Gibson trademark the Three Humbucker Guitar?

maybe there is not preamp? Could that just be a switch to engage the middle pickup?

Only problem is the neck, sort of tough to keep bends in tune on the Rubber Chicken Neck.

Yeah seems like a modified 594. I bet it has longer scale length too. Which I guess means it's probably not a 594. But yeah new version of the super eagle.

I would like very much to enjoy the same popularity he has with both PRS and the ladies, only I can't play like him and don't look like him, which makes my desired plan difficult.

Then there would have to be an aftermarket for things like squeakers with different size and material reeds.

I can see the thread titles now:
wooden or synthetic reeds. Which are better?

I just swapped out the red in my rubber chicken and boy does it siiiinnnnnggggggg now!

    Graphite neck stiffeners?

Before you know it there will be someone playing a double neck!

Lol. I can do this all day!:D:D:D

Paul would find a way, but some would call it snake oil.

Or in this case, chicken grease. This guitar plays like fried chicken grease.

Hmm ok I admit that’s not likely to catch on :rolleyes2:

some of you have a lot of opinions on a topic you are obviously poorly informed in....

us deadheads want to talk about his new Dead & Co guitar from this year, and as usual, the out of touch folks that think they STILL have something clever to say about the Silver Sky in every damn Mayer thread show up.

As Wayne Campbell would say “get over it, go out with someone else.”

ok - now whatever this HHH New PRS thing is gonna be - if its mass released, it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine

    sounded GREAT in Wrigley!

The tone had great clarity on the neck pickup, much more than the 594 he played on the last tour. That clear tone which can be a challenge on a short scale guitar.

This was easily my favorite Mayer tone with Dead and Co, even more than the $15K super eagle. He played for 3.5 hours on this one guitar. never swapped out. Who does that anymore. Shades of GC and his monogamy with Tiger and Wolf.

Likely priced over my head but that's a nice looking 3 humbucker guitar.
