you're right, it is a masterpiece, it's my favourite Queens album, even beating songs for the deaf imho.

Always good to hear about new Queens...

    ... But...

I REALLY want a new Them Crooked Vultures record.

I love Like Clockwork so much. The music is very sad and depressing but it reminds me of the time I lived in London... I miss those times.
I think I'll blast "I appear missing" when I'm alone in the office today :)

I'll honestly be glad if their next album is similar to Like Clockwork but I'm always excited to hear what new stuff they come up with.

Braunzo: I don't think there'll be a new Them Crooked Vultures album for a while, if ever, since Queens and Foos are doing stuff right now. I don't know what John Paul Jones is up to these days though.

Some of the songs are a bit sad on like clockwork but, songs like smooth sailing, fairweather friends, sat by ocean etc are quite upbeat.

Yeah, "Smooth sailing" is dope! I remember when I just moved to London, I saw Queens performing at Glastonbury on tv and my now girlfriend texted me about how good that song was. I love how sleazy and bouncy the groove is.

The drums, guitar tone and that sort of frantic feeling "My god is the sun" has is amazing. The drums are so ****ing good in that song!

Great news -- looking forward to it. Like Clockwork took some time to grow on me but I definitely dig it. Lullabies To Paralyze is my personal favorite.
