    Just saw on the Quilter Facebook page that they are hosting an event on October 23rd to showcase a new amp. The details in the post were vague, but it did say that attendees should bring their guitars to try it out and that it's Country Western themed. The Country Western theme may or may not be related to the amp as Pat Quilter evidently plays in a band of that genre and will be performing that night.

    My friend's, brother's uncle told me that he read on the internet that it is going to look like this. It certainly would fit the theme of the event.

    Now,that sounds like a great night.
    Too bad I'm in Canada.
    I look forward to your new product.
    Let's see..... country and western night.
    You're going to unveil the Twin Killer in head format.

    Will it really look like the old Gretsch?

    I don’t think so. I was just making a joke because of the theme of the party. That would be cool, though.

    We need a neutral, compact amp that *doesn't* act like a tube amp.
    Here are some use cases:

    Modeler set-up:
    Modeler -> QuilterAmp -> Cabinet

    Wet/dry set-up:
    TubeAmp -> DryCabinet
    TubeAmp Line Out -> Effects -> QuilterAmp -> WetCabinet

    Reamp set-up:
    TubeAmp -> Load -> Effects -> QuilterAmp -> Cabinet

    I'd be somewhat surprised if the new amp is geared toward country and western. I think of Fender amps when I think of that genre and the 101 Mini Reverb and the Surf voices on the various other amps should cover that territory well. That said, it seems like a lot of the professional adopters of Quilter amps seem to be country and steel players, so it wouldn't come as that big of a surprise.

    So far nothing beats the MicroPro Mach 2!
    But I'm open-minded and looking forward to the unveiling.

    That link also does not work.
    But I don't need any persuading when it comes to Quilter products.

    I have FB and the link doesn't work for me. I've tried linking to FB here in the past and it also never worked, just assumed you couldn't link to FB from TGP but I guess that's not the case if it's working for you... :dunno

    Sorry for any troubles. If you head over to the website, from there try our FB page. (Top right) and it should get you where you need going.

    Wouldn’t your friend’s brother’s uncle also be your friend’s uncle?
