Very interested as well. Hoping for some clips or info from NAMM but nothing so far. Surprised as they certainly had a ton of clips after they announced the original Simble Pedal.

The original Simble does an excellent clean boost. I have one.
I prefer it to the Klon type pedals since it doesn't change the tone like they do.
It's also the best Dumble pedal on the market in my opinion.

Just heard from Harri Koski at Mad Professor. The Simble Predrive will be available in May. Should be around $169.00 US. (same as the other MP Pedals) They are currently working on clips. Cool!

Here for now, Europe when I die. Am I dead yet?
I've got a Simble Overdrive on my board. If the new Pre-Drive is that good, I'll add it too.
I wish they had clips already!

Looks like all the knobs fell off.
    Makes me suspicious.
Why would I want this over the regular Simble?

Also, I remember that Skreddy got a lot of flack for a one knob phaser ("What? Only one knob?").
Maybe TGP has turned over a new leaf.

I wonder if they have actually put effort into this being an actual preamp, suitable for going direct into a power amp or sim

    That's my question too

For a $169 "always on" pedal there is a lot of competition in that area that is cheaper ($100 to $120 range - Xotic EP, Fulltone 2B, etc).

Just found this. Not sure if it's been posted but there is a couple of short Simble Predrive clips about halfway through the video. Sounds GREAT paired with the Royal Blue Overdrive.

    :)
