Just saw that on twitter
I'm always looking forward to new music from Robben.
I wonder if posters are going to try and figure out what kind of car he was driving?
I liked what I heard in the trailer.
I was going to suggest he keep his hands on the wheel, thanks for the head's up!!
He's really on a creative roll as of late. So inspiring. Could have done without some of th guests maybe but the rest of it looks cool! Seems to be some of his best songwriting yet!
Cool.... Sounds nice!
I'm looking forward to it!
Just saw him two weeks ago. Looking forward to a great record!
hey it's got ZZ Ward on it, that's good enough for me.
He pretty much sounds like himself whether it's an SG, tele, strat, signature,...
and although I can hear the dumble amp with that characteristic slight overdrive (which I personally don't care for- I like things crystal clean or crazy distorted), it's a sound I hear guys cop w many decent amps.
Loved A Day In Nashville, looking forward to this one. He's a master of taste, tone, phrasing and not over playing. One of the all time greats in my opinion. Too jazzy for the masses otherwise he'd be up there with Jeff Beck, Jimi, EC etc as a huge guitar hero.
yeah, Robben's Phrasing and Tone are just the best.... question: if I buy a car like his will I sound the same? :>)
Ok, glad you got that off your chest.
Totally Dig the sound of that SG ... much, much more then than the other guitar he's been using lately ...
Something about that other guitar just doesn't sit right with my ears ...
however that SG is smoking (gotta get mine out now ...
Wow... ZZ Ward has flown under my radar... just bought her album!
Haha! Yep, been reading those 'Dumble' threads, knew I should have stayed away.
At least I posted from a pc; when I post from a phone the smart text morphs it into 'Dumbledore'.
Not usually a fan of records with lots of guests but the songs seem pretty good and he always sounds and plays fantastic. Looking forward to it.
