New Rosewood EJ Strat OMG - So Awsome!!

    I would definitely look into one, especially since my EJ was stolen and I prefer rosewood to maple fingerboards.

    I hope they don't do the binding though, it just looks weird on a strat (IMO).

    I personally love the look of that binding on the neck !!

    would totaly set the EJ apart from all the other strats out there.

    I agree, plus I've had problems with binding on other guitar necks.

    he couldnt remember the color...looks like ocean turquoise metallic...love that color...if they do that color with an unbound neck im doomed!

    Looks like I may very well "need" another Stratocaster...but if Fender's going to do the bound fingerboard, they should also do the big headstock...like Ry Cooder's 1966 example here:

    Watched most of those clips today. That dude kills me, he can hear the difference of his strats with the back cover off and on, what a curse!

    I like that strat, but not the bound fret board. Too bling for my taste.:D

    Frets are just too small for me on the EJ Strat. I love the Mayer Strat though. I have an Oly White one that just kills!
