Many good things going on your track:

    The good:
    • Played with smooth and flowing character
    • Nice tempo changes among different sections
    • Pleasant tone
    • Competent production -- properly compressed without sounding compressed

    Suggestions for improvements:
    • Sounds like it's tracked with a direct-recording modeler. If mic-ed properly, the fundamental tone is good enough to stand on its own without the chorus effect. The effect and the direct recording edge cheapens the overall feel of the recording.
    • Some breathing room between phrases

Checked out other tunes on your page -- they are all very nice!

    Thanks for the input Ari,

Yeah, you nailed it. I didn't have enough space in my room to set up mikes for amps and all. On the solo stuff I pluged my guitar into Pro Tools and just played. It's all solo guitar, no over dubs, except for the band songs. Those were done in a professional studio. I didn't do any of the engineering on those. Since the recording I stoped using chorus even live. I found it has a tendency to make the guitar sound like it's out of tune.

    Thanks Marcello.

I'm glad you like it. I know this is pretty different from most of the stuff you hear on this forum.

    Hi Cristof,

Tunes are on the way. I included Surfer Girl which Soundclick won't let me post because it's a Beach Boys tune.
