new guitar, warmoth black korina body and neck, ebony board with koa top and peghead. just finished and not set up yet. it sounds good.

Beautiful guitar. I would probably have chosen a different color hardware than black, but that's just me.

Korina is actually a lot like mahogany, but with a touch more SNAP like maple. A great tone wood. Combined with the ebony board, it's probably a good mix between maple and rosewood, if you are comparing strat tones.

That is just INCREDIBLE! Wonderful choice of everything! Every time I dream a Warmoth guitar, it just comes out looking like '62 RI Strat. Very cool stuff.
