Got this one a couple weeks ago, got it back yesterday from a fret dress and an installation of a reverse zebra WCR Fillmore at the bridge (very Slash-like, if I do say so myself).

    Check it:

I had that same guitar for years--I really wish the neck wasn't so flat & thin...still I kept it for so long because it's so damn pretty.

    Enjoy!

Yep. '98 Studio, nice hand-filling neck. Can't wait to open her up!

Mine was a '98! Damn, bro--I think that used to be hanging in my basement!

Does the neck have the characteristics I mentioned?

Not at all, otherwise it wouldn't work for me. I've tried Hamers with flat-thin necks before and I didn't care for them.

Got this one from a guy on the Hamer board who claims to be the original owner. I believe him; other than a slight ding on the back, this thing is mint.

Very nice. You will probably dig those Fillmores as well.

This is my first foray into the WCR world. Haven't had a chance to open her up yet but gave her a whirl thru a friend's Line 6/Bogner combo at bedroom volume (nice amp, by the way) and it sounded great. Neck pickup is a stock Duncan '59.
